Giraffe Pose is a fun and animal-themed yoga pose that kids of all ages enjoy! For dinosaur-themed yoga activities, you can easily turn this giraffe into a long-necked dinosaur.

Use Giraffe Pose to improve balance, strengthen legs, and get an upper body stretch. Children will also develop their coordination, as they focus on balancing on one arm.

Step 1
Begin in Table Pose.

Step 2
Keep one hand on your mat, and reach your other hand up to the sky.

Step 3
Hold this pose for a couple of breaths.

Step 4
Return your hand to your mat, then repeat on your opposite side.
