Savasana

Fetal Pose is considered a final resting pose, and is usually introduced at the end of a yoga class or calming yoga sequence. Easy for all ages, and an excellent time to relax to guided visualizations. 

Help children to unwind with books like Harold and the Purple Crayon and Good Night, Gorilla. Both of these end with children ready for sleep in Savasana. Perfect for use at nap time!

Step 1
Begin in Corpse Pose.

Step 2
Slowly roll over onto your right side.

Step 3
Close your eyes, and focus on deep breathing.

Step 4
For the full benefit, you may stay here as long as you are comfortable.
