Downward Facing Dog is often the first yoga pose that children learn! It has the ability to be both a calming and energizing pose, and helps to get our blood flowing and recenter our focus.
As an introduction to yoga, find Downward Facing Dog in our Basic Sun Salutation. It also makes a fun dog house in Lucky Tucker!
To encourage breathing in this pose, have fun and try barking!
