Pavana Muktasana
Wind Relieving Pose is usually introduced at the end of a yoga class or calming yoga sequence. Have children stay in this pose for a couple of breaths, before they settle into their final resting pose.
This pose is a part of our most popular calming sequence – Nighttime Stretches, and the book Waiting for Wings.
Step 1
Begin by laying on your back.
Step 2
Bend your knees, and bring both of your legs up to your chest. Hold your legs a little below your knees.
Step 3
Gently hug your legs a little closer to your chest.
