Tipping Star turns Star Pose into a core strengthening yoga activity for kids of all ages! Laugh and have fun as children work on their balance, tip over, and try again.

This pose also makes for a fun kite, flying high in the sky, in Let’s Go Fly a Kite!
Step 1
Begin in Star Pose.
Step 2
Keep your neck and back straight, and tip your star to one side, balancing on one leg for as long as you can.
Step 3
Return to Star Pose by placing both feet on the floor.
Step 4
Now tip your star to the other side.
Step 5
When you are ready, return to Star Pose, then step your feet together and lower your arms.
