Sasangasana
Rabbit Pose is a fun calming yoga pose that kids of all ages benefit from. Children stretch and relax, as they reach their bunny ears up to the sky.
Some of our most popular activities that use Rabbit Pose are The Runaway Bunny and A Garden Full of Poses. Both are fun and easy ways to introduce yoga to children in preschool or daycare.
Step 1
Begin by sitting on your heels.
Step 2
Lace your fingers behind your back.
Step 3
Lift your rabbit ears to the sky, as you lean forward and gently rest the top of your head in front of your knees.
Step 4
Hold this pose for a couple of breaths.
Step 5
Lower your arms, and slowly return to sitting upright.
